ADULT AND STUDENT GROUP TOURS
AMOA-Arthouse’s friendly and knowledgeable volunteer docents are available to lead age-appropriate, fun, and interactive tours of Laguna Gloria and the Jones Center. Forty-five-minute tours can be booked at 9:30am, 10:15am, and 11am. Please book your tour at least two weeks in advance. Laguna Gloria

Laguna Gloria offers a unique experience of history, art, and nature. Visitors can tour the recently restored 1916 Italianate-style villa that was the home of Texas legend Clara Driscoll and stroll the historic gardens. Inside and on the grounds visitors can view art exhibitions and discover sculptures on the grounds.Public tours of Laguna Gloria, the Driscoll Villa, and historic gardens are held every Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm.

The Jones Center

The Jones Center  offers a unique downtown experience where visitors can investigate and experience modern and contemporary art in a recently renovated historic building.

School Tours
• Tours can be booked for groups of ten to forty-five children at The Jones Center or Laguna Gloria.
• Groups should be accompanied by one chaperone for every ten children.
• Student tour admission is free with a suggested donation of $1 per child.
• Tours should be booked at least two weeks in advance.

Cancellations and Changes to a Booked Tour
If you need to cancel or re-schedule a tour, please call 512.453.5312 x104 as soon as possible so we can contact the volunteer docents and alert the front desk.  Please let us know if the size of your groups vary from the original estimate at the time you booked your tour.  We like to keep a ratio of 1 Docent to 15 visitors. If the size of your group increases or decreases considerably, we may need to add or reduce the number of Docents to better serve your group. Post Tour Evaluations: We would love to hear from you!
